Dyna Shipping AS is an independent shipbroking company based in Oslo. We are focusing on the gas and chemical segments where we are involved in chartering, projects, financing and sandp.

Our brokers have extensive and diversified experience in these markets thus forming a competitive and useful team fully committed to add value to our clients’ shipping and trading businesses.

Dyna Fyr is a famous landmark outside Bygdøy, at the entrance of Oslo’s inner harbour.

Since 1874, this lighthouse has provided vital guidance to ships going in and out of our capital city, ensuring sea navigation in these narrow and congested waters.

Dyna Shipping’s ambition is to provide our clients with an equally important guidance and assistance in the shipping markets.

CEO / Gas chartering & Projects

38 years ship broking experience, mainly in petrochemical gas chartering. Maritime education from the Naval Academy and Oslo Nautical College, followed by officer positions both in the Navy and in the merchant marine.

Fredrik G. Sjøberg-Thorud

Gas chartering

22 years of ship broking experience, came to us from Xenon Shipping AS in 2002. Main area of focus are spot and period gas chartering, mainly petrchemical gases. Also experience from chemical chartering and operations working in Connecticut with Cambridge Chartering. Graduated from Norwegian School of Management in 1997.

Kristian Oscar Arntzen

Gas chartering

Joined Dyna Shipping in 2014, after finishing his BSc in Shipping Management from BI Norwegian School of Management. Started working in operations before moving on to commercial chartering. Main area of focus are spot and period gas chartering, especially in the LPG segment.

Rolf Stræte

Head of operations

Joined Dyna Shipping in 2022 as a senior coach and mentor. Through changes in staff Rolf temporarily took over the responsibility for all post fixture/ops activities, which luckily became permanent. Rolf has been in gas chartering for more than 40 years, half of this as head of gas in Fearnleys.

Anders Raastad

Operations

Joined Dyna Shipping in May 2023 from a commercial position in a start-up. Prior to that he worked as a customer consultant at Santander Bank. He concluded BSc in economics and administration at BI Norwegian Business School in 2021. He is handling post fixture and operations.
